Overview
The Screaming Yak is currently hiring for a full time Front of House Shift Supervisor position. This position will include some bartending shifts. You need to have night and weekend availability.

The Screaming Yak features Jack Daniels-centric food and beverages. We are open for lunch and dinner every day and throw in breakfast service on the weekends.
Wage
- Pay range for position: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities/Duties
- Follow all policies and procedures
- On time and attend all meetings
- Oversee front of house team during scheduled floor shifts ensuring that all store operations are running smoothly
- Engage with guests during floor shifts with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction
- Hold staff accountable for maintaining a high standard of service by following service standard guidelines
- Assist in controlling inventory and preparation levels to minimize overstock and waste
- Maintain and oversee cleanliness, organization and proper maintenance of facilities
- Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
- Keep staff informed on new developments and upcoming events

Skills/Experience
- Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
- Washington State MAST/Class 12
- Two (2) years minimum management experience
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
- Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
- Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
- Proven leadership and motivational skills
- Display a professional appearance and is a positive role model within the restaurant
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent guest relations skills with high guest satisfaction expectations and focus
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft) and office skills required
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
